BTB + Control is a bad mix

I imagine most of you have played the gametype control (a team needs to capture 3 neutral hills and hold them at the same time to earn a point). I think it works well on small 4v4 maps as less ground needs to be covered from spawning after a death.

However, when I have played this game type on BTB. It literally is a matter of the team that scores the first overall point wins due to how quickly the zones respawn back in. Map control has already been established, the controlling team earns another quick point and it’s very difficult for the losing team to recover due to the amount of ground that needs to be covered to go from spawning in, to going to one of the zones.

What are your thoughts on Control in BTB?
