I’m queuing as a solo player.
On an Xbox Series X.
With a wired connection.
I live within a 3 hour drive of one of MS’s server locations.
Since the “failed” BTB hotfix, I had still been avoiding BTB assuming I would be wasting my time trying to match into it. To my surprise, the last 3 nights I’ve been able to grind BTB all night with very few connection failures. I have not had to quit/restart Infinite, and have had <5 instances where I had to restart a search.
Is anyone else seeing general success with BTB games? Is the issue mainly impacting PC/XBO users? I’m just confused as to why I’m getting this lucky and it sounds like everyone else is having a very difficult time getting into matches…

I only had time for one game the other night but played without any issues. I was surprised as I’ve had an awful time with BTB for weeks.
Depending on if I buy Pokémon Legends: Arceus or not, I’ll be playing some BTB this weekend if it’s got no issues.
After my first game I realised how much I’d missed playing it. Having an intense 2-0 loss on Total Control flipped to a 3-2 win in the last 3 minutes was so hype. Just love how much variety there is in the weapons and strategies with changing vehicles/weapons and player mentalities on a larger map. The games feel so different every time which is unusual for an arena game. Love it!
Forge is really going to make BTB something special.

I actually had no issues either connecting to BTB this week as well. Thankfully because I still got BTB challenges despite them saying they would be removed.

It’s crazy how quickly I forgot how fun BTB is after not really playing it for like 3 weeks!
I really hope one of the upcoming patches will even out the weapons and vehicles on each side of the map though. I love the randomization each time you play, but I want each side to get the same randomized weapon sets… if that makes sense.

For me it’s on a day by day basis. Sometimes I search, get into a game quickly and can play a few rounds without any issues. The next day I can’t get into a game even after several restarts of the game.
Lately I’ve been rather unlucky. Haven’t played this week at all.

The main issue with BTB not working has always been lobbies of 3 or more players trying to connect…queuing solo hasn’t been such a problem even though it doesn’t work all of the time.
