Hey everyone I just had a question. Is the flight this Thursday the 23rd or is it Friday the 24th? Because in the Inside Infinite it says the times for match making begin “on the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of each flight”.
4v4 Arena game modes are in this weekend’s preview, with the game being made available this Thursday night and the matchmaking starting on Friday.
BTB is lined up for next weekend, and follows an identical schedule, becoming available on the night of the 30th with matchmaking starting on October 1st.
For each day that matchmaking is active, the matchmaking servers will be up from 1:00 PM EST to 5:00 PM EST.
I think the inside Infinite blog post says that we’ll have the opportunity to pre load the flight install Thursday evening, and then it will go live some time on Friday.
There are suggested play times that will be given to try and encourage high volumes of players to occur, but you’ll still be able to use matchmaking outside of those times. That’s how other flights have worked at least.
