BTB and Grifball maps??!!?!?

I understand and applaud 343i for looking for more Community BTB maps. Lord knows they aren’t going to design them themselves, and we desperately need new maps. However, why on earth is their search in Community maps limited to BTB and Grifball (with Breakout a few weeks ago)?

Grifball is a flat square. That’s it. First of all, how much “fine-tuning” do you need? Make the spawns a set distance away from each other, make sure the ground is flat, and slap a hard kill boundary about 100 feet up and call it good. Or, just make the walls too high to exploit, and there isn’t a problem.

Why does 343 insist on wasting their time looking for “new and exciting Grifball courts” when they could be playtesting all of their Community Spotlight maps and implementing them into Slayer, Arena, FFA, etc.?

Why does 343i waste so much time with looking for Breakout maps? Breakout is as simple of a gametype as you can get, aside from Grifball, and the maps all play exactly the same, mostly because you only get a few minutes of play on each map due to being dead most of the time.

343i act like they are so great by implementing the Community maps, but there is NO reason we shouldn’t have 3-4 Community maps in Slayer, Arena, FFA, Breakout, and BTB by now. None. They playtest and playtest but can’t find simple out-of-map routes, then they take months to fix those points in matchmaking.

Forge is Halo 5’s biggest feature. Halo 5 would be a complete dumpster fire, but the rating is saved by how much you can accomplish in Forge. Yet 343i have not done one ounce of work in trying to get the community’s maps into the rotation, and they want people to enjoy playing Fiesta on horrible maps?

So they are offering to give more maps and you demand more?

I want to know why they aren’t focusing on actual maps, rather than Breakout and Grifball maps. There’s a big difference between making a slayer map and making a grifball map, and I can’t understand why they’d think adding more grifball courts would make grifball more enjoyable but adding slayer maps wouldn’t.
