Does anyone know how to detect if a BTB Player is a 343 AI BOT? (either because a player left or there weren’t enough players to fill the BTB Game)?
Is there a way to “activate” they AI BOTS?
The last few weeks I’ve noticed several “teammates” that just stand in the base the whole game. Never participating, never moving. Is there a trick to get them to activate? Sometimes when I shoot them or hit them, they disappear. Mostly, they just stand there & I guess my team plays down a few players.
Please let me know if there is a special Xbox controller key press, dance, etc. to get them to join in.
Yes, if there name starts with "343 ", its an bot 99% of the time (there might be some players who have a name lthat starts with 343 just to troll, but i haven’t seen them though)
Those are probably not bots (bots will imidiately start fighting when they spawn in), but just players who are AFK. And there is nothing you can do to ‘activate’ them. In the beginning it might be because they are still loading in (some people just don’t load in that quickly and the game doesn’t wait untill everybody is loaded in), but after a couple of seconds they should have been loaded in already, or they will dissapear (because their game crashed or refused to load them in). If they just keep being AFK they will eventually be kicked out of the match after 2 or 3 minutes i think it is (that is why you see them dissapearing).
If they just move around in circles are only make small movements every once in a while, they are just trying to circumvent the AFK timer and not getting kicked out. Those are the worst and it’s best to write down there gamertag and report them using this link:

Deliberately AFK’ing in game is a bannable offense (it’s griefing).
A couple of seconds to a minute: yes, those are players who have crashed and the game isn’t completely closed yet. Their spartan is still visible, but can’t be killed. They will dissapear after a certain amount of time.
