I think there needs to be a Bot Bootcamp for BTB. I think the SBMM is just too wide in BTB, making it far less fun at the bottom of the foodchain.
Another reason is the desync issue. I don’t get that playing against bots and it’s most noticeable in BTB.
Alternatively they could do a mixture of both AI and players. Similar to how Battlefront 2’s Capital Supremacy gamemode players are faced against a combination of players and AI. Not only does it increase the size of the battle making it more immersive it’s not quite as sweaty as a result. It’s really a win win. If sweats don’t like it they’ll still have ranked and literally every other mode including the repetitive elimination events.
