The BTSF playlist is unplayable. Not because it’s bad or anything, no, it’s actually a great playlist! But because of waiting times!!! I can wait for 10 minutes and then join a game that’s halfway through, so after that game I wait another 10 mins until other players oyr found, but very often only 1 is missing and it sometimes takes 5 minutes to fill that slot. I often get ‘unable to join’ messages. Where is everyone? Right now I have the same problem with all others playlists except triple team…don’t tell me that’s the only playlist people pre actually playing? Or has everyone switched to halo mcc? Can’t imagine…anyone else with this problem?
In general I feel like H5 has waiting time problems. Even at the end of H4, when there weren’t a lot of people left playing it, I could get into games faster.
Now that i think about it, waiting times have been longer when i played yesterday. The ranked playlists were working fine for me, so i think its just the social population.
I play from outside the US so its hard but as long as I search balanced or expanded I tend to find a game in most playlists eventually. Searching focused is no longer working.
I was finding games all last week instantly, it seems like the skill constraints have tightened. My team of 8 still finds games, but they are usually sweaty now.
343 added MMR constraints due to the complaining about matches. So yes, there are going to be wait times now, and many have stopped playing due to this, which makes it even worse.

Pick another time or day to play. Try another playlist. I was finding full games instantly all last week so it’s probably just population and people are getting burnt out

You can’t possibly even guess to how many are playing or stopped playing at all. It’s like 3am right now and I am getting matches without ever long wait times and haven’t JIP really at all. Playlist seems fine to me especially playing at this hour.
I live in the U.S. and play at late mornings and at that time it is near impossible to find anyone in any playlist. If it’s not rush hour, this game is basically dead outside of Warzone, surprisingly, since I always thought Warzone was mostly disliked. But no, it’s the only PvP playlist at that time where I can find a full match in under 5 minutes. I was going to try BTB Super Fiesta last Wednesday after a long break of H5, but alas, not one player to be found…
I’m in Canada and I literally never have issues getting games in any playlist. Maybe I am by definition an average player, so there are more potential people to match with, based on skill?
I enjoyed big team fiesta at first while I needed gausshog and splatter kills. Now that I got what I needed, I’m less inclined to play it. I try to get wheelman medals, but a good Gunner is few and far between.
