BS win/loss system

Sometimes people on the other team lag out/quit out and it gives them the win. It’s stupid.

example:

Probably a game split. You were the ones that seemed to lag out.

No I didn’t though. We won and I am 100% sure, they all quit out, and for some reason it gives 1 of them the win.

I win hundreds of invasion matches in a row with my team, and I lose my streak to stuff like that.

it’s dumb.

Also I lose unfrigs and even killionares to black screens.
tired of it, hope this changes in H4.

Halo 4 uses the same p2p hosting system.

Well what I think pretty much ruins reach is how the black screens work

in call of duty its a lot less frequent, a lot quicker, and even has a countdown. also it doesn’t take away your sprees

on halo it completely screws you over. It takes away kills, medals, resets your sprees, ittakes forever, and its a boring black screen that randomly comes out. sometimes 1 person is still in a black screen while someone else isn’t. it’s stupid.

Also I had a huge winstreak on invasion… almost 300 games and I just lost it cuz of black screens and host migration. its impossible to have 100% win because of that.

What you see =/= what the Matchmaking/stat servers saw.

Streak lengths don’t mean anything. Not having 100% wins means nothing.

I don’t understand why it does this sometimes. I have played with my friends and they were in black screen while I was the only one out, along with the enemy. I saw the enemy walk up to my teammates backs and start assassinating him, so I killed him and saved my teammate. But WTF?! That shouldn’t happen!

> But WTF?! That shouldn’t happen!

On a bad p2p host anything is possible.

I’ve seen people float around the level because they were jetpacking when a black screen hit.

Yeah, it is a little bogus. If someone lags out, it should simply count neutrally, neither a win nor a loss. If someone quits, it should count as a loss.
