Cost 5 bucks on ebay. Cheaper than a MCD meal.

And why should be pay a second time for someting we already paid for when we purchased the game? Specs are on the disc, they are simply locked for money making purposes. Claims of “online integrity” by 343 are bovine feces when they are chucking out codes for Dew and Doritos to get double XP.

Because EU got the code when you pre-ordered the game from gamestop in most countries.
$10 Bucks - This thread gets locked and the OP either warned/banned.
Yeah, no gamestop here.

There is no gamestop here. Its GAME uk, they are not part of gamestop. And they went bust earlier in the year. Almost no-one is stupid enough to give a failed company money to order a product that may or may not be recieved. And it was only GAME uk that had the offer. There are plenty of other, bigger retailers that were barred from making the same offer, such as Tesco or Asda.
To be honest if they ban me that says everything doesnt it truth hurts and all that im on level 66 and if they ask me to pay or wait 6 months ill be posting my copy back to 343i…remember it may only be $1 on ebay but its the principle its about how you treat be people ,how you treat the customer and how that makes them feel 343 got it wrong and are not big enough to admit it…if anyone believes they love the community you have so much to learn about life and buisness we are the cash cow we have purchased the game we dont matter…until they try to flog us the DLC maps …hello Europe we love you please spend 800ms points your the best. BS Angel…no code no DLC purchase.

Tell me you work as a community manager for one of the largest video game franchises ever. Tell me that entails more than just interacting with one of the most rabidly aggressive, self-entitled fan-bases on the planet and that you are not an integral member in all things community related.
Tell me you, as this aforementioned community manager, had no degree of control over a Microsoft-developed promotion that was executed by their proprietary system under a multitude of restrictions.
Tell me you’re one of the largest software developers in the United States. Tell me what international guidelines may exist for promotions, even those based solely on digital content. Tell me about all the laws, regulations, restrictions, bureaucracy, forms, filings, meetings, exchanges, contracts, agreements, and etc. that you as a major software company in the United States face when attempting to extend promotions to European customers.
Tell me as a community manager that this is your fault and cite exact examples where you, as a community manager of a subsidiary company to the aforementioned software giant had the power in your hands to decide whether or not promotional content, for a promotion started by and executed by said software giant, would extend to non-US residents.
Tell me there’s something you as this community manager can do for non-US customers; tell me there’s not a litany of procedures, laws, and restrictions to experience before making specializations a reality for non-US customers. Tell me that this process and delivery system does not take time, money, or exhaustive testing. Tell me that the coding will work perfectly. Tell me that there will be no certification restrictions as set by the US federal government, European governments, or Microsoft.
Tell me that you don’t have other projects to which you are a vital member of. Tell me that there aren’t additional tasks to which you must attend, even if the community does not have implicit knowledge of these tasks. Tell me there is nothing else that needs to be done as a community manager.
Puuuh…-Yoinking!-…leeeeeezeeee.
It’s supposed to be a Limited Edition content, while the 20th of November thing is a promotion. 343i will unlock the specs later on to everybody without any code.
If you didn’t buy the limited, you knew already that you wouldn’t be able to rank up to lvl 130 so stop the whining.
No one knew, it was not advertised as a selling point and typical the people (kids) who have it demonsrating a total lack of empathy ,typical selfish attitude of the lower end of the community, and yes they did have control over who had the codes its no accident the US got them, their is no DRM issues with the DLC and the info is already on the disc it is merely a way to create a two tier community one feels valued and one feels neglected…hm which one are you !!
It’s 2000 MS points for the DLC not 800, which i suppose makes it a helava lot worse!!!
