As much as I’d like to see the bruteshot in Halo 5 the game isn’t likely to get another content update.
More realistic than dream crushing unfortunately
Eh I figure we won’t see another content update but IF they did. Wouldn’t say no. But was curious if anybody else would be interested lol
I feel as if it wouldn’t make sense in Halo 5s current sandbox. Now If they did a weapon update (Make the BR good again) I’d be happy with a change of pace.

I was going to say “maybe cause of the lack of brute’s?” but when I thought about it Reach had the brutes but NOT the bruteshot. But I mean it makes you wonder.
The hydra launcher is halo 5s bruteshot. It’s highly underused free fire mode is equally effective. Just takes some practice to get used to it’s faster firing projectiles and halo 5s faster movement speeds in general. If all you care about is aesthetics then no. I dont see a return. But as far as function. You got the halo 2 (not 3) version of the bruteshot built into the hydra

this could be down to lore if the brute shot wasnt created yet
You bring up a good point with the Hydra ( I also enjoy the free fire mode, saved me countless times 
) but it’s not the same lol. The Hydra is an UNSC weapon, the Covenant’s side of weaponary doesn’t really have an equivalent if you think about it? I mean unless I forgot about one? I guess it’s about aesthetics mostly but also a feel, ya know?

That’s true too, I was going to say they could’ve had brutes on the ship due from it being an older fleet positioned out there but there wasn’t any drones either lol

just cause there are no brutes doesn’t mean we can’t have their weapons.

You right. But still, I don’t think 343 likes the weapon and it wasn’t even used by brutes in the gameplay reveal.

Yeah I know, my point was just because there are no brutes doesn’t mean that you can’t have brute weapons

We saw the ravager maybe a more banished brute shot and in the second where we saw the classic br there might have been one i think
