Brutes.

Everybody talks about foruners and covenant coming to halo 4 is there any possibility that some brute items may make a return as well.

Hopefully we see Brutes in Spartan Ops or something.

Maybe they’ll even be allied with those forces we see on Requiem, but I don’t think that would go very nicely with the Elites.

As it stands right now, the majority of the Brutes still seem to be at war with the Sangheili. There may not be a large presence of Brutes, but there may be some due to Glasslands mentioning that some Brutes stayed on Sangheilios to support the Sangheili. So, in a very round about way, we have no idea. I would like to see some at least so I can get my hammer back…

YES

MAYBE

NO

I don’t think they will be in Halo 4.

Also Elites>Brutes.

I find it so stupid that, in Glasslands, the Elites allow some Brutes to take on the role of personal guards.

Brutes and Elites have always hated each other. The abrutes began to commit genocide on the Elites, and now both races are at war with each other. Why have a member of the enemy species be your guard?

Ugh. I don’t know. It just all doesn’t make sense to me.

Mini rant finished.

It’s Karen Traviss, she’s infamous for not doing research.

also is it just me or does elite armor start to resemble to brute armor in the way that they don’t seem as shiny and packed full of armor anymore. and yes elite>brute

Didn’t she screw up a portion of the Star Wars universe or something?

they should get rid of her shes messing up the halo story line, now it just too complicated they are adding more and more in, its becoming a mess, theres far too much now a fair portion of the universe is very contradicting its becoming a pain trying to know whats happening i dont mean karen travis alone ive seen people be confonfused with the other books .

i know right, from what we have learned and experienced from the relation the elites and brutes have there is not a chance that the elites would allow brutes become their honor guards and theres not a chance the brutes would want to, it seriously messing things up in the halo universe its becoming unenjoyable.

I actually think she did pretty well in Star Wars, she really fleshed out the Mandalorians, the people of Jango Fett and all. Lucas on the otherhand…

Okay. People have been criticizing her on literally everything she has produced after Glasslands.

It’s nice to know she is successful somewhere.

Travis better do great on The Thursday War, or I’ll begin to miss Nylund even more.

Her short story, Human Weakness, in Halo: Evolutions was really good too. What I liked about the Mandalorians is their culture and she really contributed greatly. Hell, she even helped keep the door open for homosexual characters, like BioWare has done, which isn’t a bad thing.

Sounds like a nice list of achievements.

Now, she should add more by making her next two Halo novels masterpieces

Well it’s not like every member of the same species is exactly the same.

If you read Glasslands though, you wouldn’t think so. Nearly every Elite character shown is vehemently anti-human with the exception of the Arbiter, and even he doesn’t care about humans all that much.

Which is weird because past lore showed a somewhat consistent respect towards humans with the Elites. There was even a human sympathizer movement among the youth of the Elites, yet none of that is mentioned.
