how can brutes armor lock when they really dont have any armor? just want to hear people think
I would also love to hear people think but alas, the mind does not speak
brutes have armor
gameplay purposes.
Even A.I.'s need crutches nowadays.
> gameplay purposes.
This is the only reason I can think of to explain it.
well, and this is just speculation, armor lock seems to be something like an extremely powerful overshield. I think that even though most brutes have minimal armor to be seen: a shield can still be generated around them.

hahahaha so good
Well, they needed something to protect them from the needles.

Then I’d like to know where the phrase “speak your mind” comes from.
I’d understand if chieftains and captains only have AL because they do have some sort of armor. But run-of-the-mill Brutes in their non-existant armors? No way.
Its to piss you off before the almost 1 hit melee kill on the higher difficulties.

The mind utilizes the vocal folds to speak, so technically, the mind does speak. Then again, this could spark a huge philosophical conversation regarding the difference between the mind and the brain, which I’m not into at the moment.

Ha ha ha /thread.
I have almost never seen a brute armor lock for any other reason except blamite. I have stuck them multiple times and they don’t armor lock they try charging me.

It was just taking the OP really literally and trying to be funny

WELL THEN. I knew that >_> xD

Which is kinda worse considering they are (inexplicably) faster than you. Nothing like a ticking time bomb to make those lard tubs move (other than a triple Baconator).
Brute minors still have pieces of armour on including a chest piece, helmet and shoulders. Albeit small pieces, they may still house shield projectors that when activated create the armour lock shield. You only have to look at the bubble shield. It’s a relatively small object that can project a full spherical shield 2-3 metres in diameter, so small objects are capable of projecting large shields within the Halo universe.
