I might be wrong but in the new launch trailer between 1.43-1.46 there is one shot where he is ground pounding were you can see a brute looking figure then the scene immediatlly after there is a hairy looking fella.
It looks more like a naked elite, way too skinny to be a brute
That’s The Arbiter showing another sangheili why they shouldn’t screw with him.

I died when the SoS Elite gets attacked by a Jackal.

I think he’s the brother of the one in Halo 4 that mauled a scientist. Nasty family, that one.
idk it looked kinda furry. could be a brute!
It’s the Arbiter. You can see that it’s not hair, but the spiked armor of the Arbiter and he seems to be tackling an Elite.
This can be supported by the fact that in the background, you see banners for the Swords of Sanghelios, and you can also see that it’s a similar art style to the cutscene with Locke and Arbiter talking.
I think this is in the mission that was shown recently where you could hear Osiris talking about the Covenant trying to kill the Arbiter, and Osiris trying to get to him before they do.

What i was thinking too. It definitely appears to be fur on its back or it could be the Arbiter’s armor. Curious…
That’s obviously the Arbiter. It has his headdress and armour.
Although I really would have liked to see Brutes in Halo 5.

The level is called Behind Enemy Lines, I think.

My first thought was “Brute”, too. I just had to re-watch the trailer after reading this, and yeah, it is actually the Arbiter nailing another Elite with Prophet’s Bane.

My, laughing sooo hard right now!!! One has to wonder if they are triplets, one per game. SHall we see the eldest/youngest brother in Halo 6? Only time will tell… (Cue “TO BE CONTINUED” caption")

The Brutes are not dead…
But this is the Arbiter and not a Brute.
