I know I have made two other threads which have been ignored, but with this thread I want to go into detail about why brutes should be playable in Halo 4.
Since Halo 2 the brutes, the elites and the Spartans have been the three humanoid characters and they all share characteristics. Super strength, soldiers, armour. And I think it is time to give us brute fans a chance to play as our favourite Halo characters.
How would it work? Of course brutes are too big to go against Spartans and elites, so I think that they should have their own playlist with slayer and objective, maybe even brute grif ball.
How would they be different? They should be much taller, stronger, different weapons and maybe different abilities. Perhaps there hold be. Berserking ability, where the player drops his weapons and runs around getting insta kill melees. I don’t know how this would work though. They would have shields which function like Spartans and elites. When they take enough damage, their power armour falls off. However, when their shields recharge, I think they should simply have shields over their bodies, as having regenerating power armour is stupid IMO.
They would have their own armoury unlocks. Personally I would want them to look like Halo 3 brutes
I think the following armour should feature in the brute armoury in order of unlock
Infantry (default)
Stalker
Jump pack (without the ability)
Captain
Chieftain
War chieftain
Colours would be customsable
Starting weapons u think should be carbine and spiker
Load out would be carbine, a spiker and two spike grenades
Weapons on the map would be strictly weapons brutes use or have used
Including
Battle rifle
Shotgun
Mauler
Brute shot
Plasma rifle
Brute plasma rifle
Plasma repeater
Needler
Gravity hammer
Rocket launcher
Fuel rod gun
Fire bomb grenades
