In the trailer for Halo Wars 2 (which is directly after the events of Halo 5, said by 343) there are Brutes and Elites working together to fight the UNSC. I heard this particular faction is called The Vanished, anyone think we’ll be able to fight them in Halo 6?
The faction is actually the Banished and remember halo wars took place what 39 years ago, heck halo wars 2 takes place over the ark. Also the Brutes and the swords of sang have a truce for now and the swords are allies with the UNSC so I doubt that they would work together against the UNSC since most of the covenant is destroyed save a few stragglers and those pockets of platoons stationed in deep space

I don’t know if we will see it or not. What I would like to see would be Humanity/Arbiter’s forces versus Prometheans vs Flood vs Brute/Drones/hunters/Elites/Jackals/grunts in a four way battle

Yes and the covenant did have them working together but thats all in the past same with how halo wars is in the past halo 6 is years ahead after things like the changing of the guard and the now current truce between brutes and sangs
I hope so. Love fighting brutes & elites in general.
I would also like to see a little forerunners and a tiny bit of flood in Halo 6. It would be cool to ultimately discover a new race towards the end, and have us / brutes / Arbiter elites have no choice but to team up and stop the new race. Now our universe is REALLY in trouble.

What do you mean? SOS stands for Swords of Sanghelios. And the Swords of Sanghelios wouldn’t be fighting the UNSC.

Um, with the Halo rings threatening to fire the universe was REALLY in trouble. Also, if the covenant dedicated all its power to exterminate the humans they would have 100% destroyed humanity without them being able to do anything back.
