As for weapons that should be brought back, they should bring back the mauler.

Agreed, give us a list or something to compare. Ex (Hammer or Sword) I’d choose hammer.
Hard to compare the two but up close the brutes are gonna beat Elite weapons most of the time having the gravity hammer, brute shot and mauler on their side but overall the brutes are no match for the Elites weapons and the versatility they bring.

Mauler was great! I think a fan favorite was the Bruteshot.
I miss both the Brute Shot and the Spiker. The primitive feel the Brute weapons have is pretty unique standing apart from the regular set of Covenant weapons, aside from the Brute Plasma Rifle.
The only Brute weapon I truly love is the brute shot. Such a fun weapon to use. The grav hammer is pretty good as well but only when you can use them to launch vehicles off the maps.
I mean the sword is faster and has a larger lunge range but the hammer wrecks the sword when they’re head on and can launch objects
Needler tracks and can explode so that’s an obvious win but the two shouldn’t be a gins each other as the Spiker is more akin to the plasma rifle/repeater/storm. Should definitely make a return tho
BPR is more accurate and rips shields faster but isnt as lethal as the storm
I prefer the repeater over the storm becease the manual venting was such a unique function for plasma weapons. The storm I more powerful and I’d say the repeater should become the AR counterpart again whilst the storm should be the SAW counter part
Spike Grenade was cool and I’ve managed to get kills with its cone shaped explosion before without sticking. But plasma has raw power behind it
I prefer the Concussion rifle. Particularly reaches version because it was so fun to use. The Brute shot is more or less the same but has the bonus melee making it functionally better
