I mean, let’s be honest 343i has been releasing some brute themed things in the past. The gravity hammers, the “brutalist” stance, the brute plasma rifle, not the regular plasma rifle, specifically the brute one. Could this be a gradual incline to something bigger to come in the Firefight update? This gradual addition of brute weaponry might be 343i’s way of hinting something big coming soon. With Halo Wars 2 focussing mainly on brutes, and Halo 5’s gradual updates including more brute weaponry, I’m thinking we might be getting something big soon, maybe introducing a brute enemy into the firefight, or maybe bringing in the brute chopper, or maybe even the brute shot. These are just my crazy fan theories

If so, we need to start to stock up on bananas so we can counter them for when Firefight gets released!
It’d be an interesting thought to be seeing some Jiralhanae additions aside from what we have now. Though as mentioned above, we don’t want the fanbase getting their hopes up for it.

Well for one the faction is called the banished, and 2 the Banished is made up of mostly brutes. The leader is a brute, the main unit in a grunt squad is a brute and the vehicle and building structure are brute variations. Now there are elites there as well but they play a much smaller role in the splinter faction.
