Destroying a grunt propaganda tower is easy but I haven’t figured out how to shutdown a brute tower.
Most of these I’ve seen are closed but this one is open and broadcasting. The base is also littered with unsc helmets and body armor

They seem to be for future DLC, they are one of a few objects that have no purpose spread across the map. but will likely have a purpose later.
The Propaganda Towers do still have a minior purpose of giving 10 Valor when destroyed. This resource is used to unlock new items that can be called in from a FOB.
If I recall correctly, there do currently exist 40 Propaganda Towers and if all of them are destroyed, the player will have a total of 400 additional Valor compared to if the side objective was ignored.
That’s the grunt propaganda towers.
The Brute propaganda towers cannot be destroyed as far as I’m aware (they’re the larger, bulkier towers you come across). Also, I think these towers are talking to the banished forces, whereas the grunt towers are talking to the human forces.
Thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately, I haven’t explored the ring that much to note everything with the exception of the most obvious.
Maybe it’s cutting content. Maybe there will be more interactive content in the DLC. Like hacking into the Banished battle net and learning their secrets.
