Spnkr came first and so seeing that h2 br and ce mag kept it after the trend is for keeping the old sounds

The M6D didn’t keep the same firing sound. I like it less, but it’s not like the gun isn’t not overpowered so I don’t really care when I’m blowing up skulls with it.

I wouldn’t mind the Halo 2 Anniversary sound design to be used for it.

It will most likely have new, yet similar sounds. The halo 2 br and magnum where more nostalgia weapons, rather than serious weapons in the sandbox and so had their old sounds.

Hopefully the plasma rifles will be cohesive with the games aesthetics.

I don’t know if you have Halo: CE on PC and compared the two at the same time, but 343i did not keep the original sounds.

Also, people still play Halo on PC, it just seems like they’re all Mexican or something. I speak English, so my ignorant -Yoink- can’t try learning whatever language it is and find out what they’re saying.

The original sound is more “CLICK-CLICK” rather than “BOOM-BOOM” (and a -Yoink- “BOOM-BOOM” at that).

I hope they don’t use the original ORIGINAL sound because it was just a plasma rifle sped up. I hope they use the h2a sound.

It will most likely have the same sound it had in the H2A remaster, or a slightly retooled one. Much like the M6D had the Anniversary sound and the BR had a similar sound to the H2A (campaign) version.

I wouldn’t exactly have a problem with that, due to the plasma rifle sound in general being amazing there.

Well if that’s the case, Bungie has always had -Yoink- weapon sounds. Except for the Battle Rifle.

Am I the only person not that excited for this weapon? It’s only an uncommon Req…soooo I don’t really see the hype. Although it could get subbed into Arena to replace some Storm Rifles since people love to hate them.

I would rather the sangheili plasma rifle than then brute plasma rifle. But something is better than noting right?
