I’m assuming the new loadout lets you lock on to the player making it easier for kills.
I absolutely hate going against the scourge of fire, because of dual plasma grenades = instant kill, now they are increasing it?!?! oh my god T__T
2 very well blurred out things on the bottom and no indication on the top right corner of what it might be… Wow. I’m assuming its assassinations? (the ultra rare one has a blue and a red) Stance (legendary looks like he’s holding a chaingun)?
YO THEY MESSED UP! The new loadouts for smg is titled DMR… And the battle rifle is titled assault rifle. LOL
The new mythic legendary looks like jorges chain gun and the new Mysterious oni req is a warzone single use card and is not a mythic only special weapons can be mythics so i belive it might be the falcon.

If they were reqs, then the background of the text where it says legendary would be white. Since its black, its a loadout or asthetic. oh wait you meant the ones on top. eh it could also be a grenade launcher or the focus rifle… with the orange on the top of it, it is most likely Jorge’s machine gun. I’m assuming it would have increased shields and faster movement speed along with increased ammo capacity if it his personal chaingun. But the ONI one better be the falcon man.

I agree with all of this. We can only hope that the hidden card is the Falcon.

Nope. BPR was in Halo 2.

That’s what I though. Then how does this apply to Memories of Reach? Don’t give me wrong, I am very grateful we are getting it, but it seems kind of random seeing as there were so many other weapons which would have been more appropriate candidates…

These guns were like featured in Reach and like other guns… Standard plasma rifle could be a given though if we’re are getting a brute plasma rifle. Just change firing rate, heating, and color and you’re done. Or it could be the Storm Rifle is just the plasma rifle and so there is no point in making one. The ONI legendary thing could also mean it is a vault of covenant arsenal used during Reach (basically 343 are still testing the weapons and what not) along with other things (please a falcon or hornet)

What really confuses me is that there were no Brutes in Reach. The whole story resolved around the Human vs Covenant war…

In halo reach, Brutes were there too. You had to fight them on New Alexandria when you were saving the hostages, and they are a part of the Covenant. But I’m assuming they were cut out of CE until Halo 2. So Bungie did have the brutes in mind or they could not figure who would be the next antagonist for Halo 2 and 3, cause you know the Elites left the Covenant and the Brutes remained loyal. (typical story changes you know?)

they probably added the BPR because they had it ready to go this update. its a great weapon.
At least there is a new weapon. 
I liked Brute Plasma Rifles.
They screwed up some of the few shown to give the illusion some of it isn’t there. Take a closer look at the page and you’ll see some of the “errors”. Normal is without a doubt there. 343 is just trying to step up thier hide and seek game. Isn’t working.
Ps they probably would have hidden the brute pr had we not spotted it in the wzff beta trailer
I guess it’s better than no plasma rifle, though I’d prefer the normal plasma rifle.

Lots of people are saying the blurred legendary mythic weapon is Jorge’s turret. Looking at it right now I’d have to agree, but then again, the Halo 1 Pistol was blurred completely beyond recognition in the initial Hammer Storm REQ reveal. The only reason we guessed that one was because the “Old School” stance gave it away. In this case, it could be completely different from what it appears to be.
Hey look on the bright side guys. The Brute Plasma Rifle is just a tiny re-skin away from the Plasma Rifle, so I’d bet on that happening in the next update.
