If we were to see brutes in halo 5 and this battle happened what do you think the outcome would be? And I’m thinking a knight battle wagon which I’m pretty sure is the one with the scattershot if not then the one with the scatter shot and it’s a gravity hammer cheiftan.
Would be an interesting battle, no doubt…

Its hard to guess on who would win, but I think a Chieftain would win because of his high energy shield and his one hit kill gravity hammer.

Chieftain would go hammer time.
Those are the reasons I thought it would be an interesting fight they both have similar HP and dmg and are close range. The knight has more shield regeneration and stronger shields and can teleport. But the cheiftan does more damage with the gravity hammer and has his infamous jump attack.

Well, the Knight can teleport and dodge the hammer hit
Well Chieftains are top-tier brutes, so to be fair you’d have to pit them against top-tier Knights (Commanders), and I think an Incineration Cannon would sufficiently roast a brute Chieftain.

I was thinking close range for something fighting a commander I would think one of the golden war chieftains with a fuel rod cannon.

I killed a knight with a gravity hammer with one hit in Halo 4 so I would assume a Chieftain would too.

If the promethian teleported a lot and had the scattershot I think it might win but it would be close
Chieftains are beasts.
Chieftain jumps to Hammer-pound. Knight teleports out of the way and onto a ledge. Incinerates the Brute. Roasted monkey people.

G hammer cheiftan vs scattershot knight and fuel rod cheiftan vs incenration cannon knight.
Hard to tell, Knight combat prowess ranges from taking down flood warships solo in the terminals to getting decimated by Master Chief with an assault rifle.
Something more on the scattershot knight’s level would be the camo brute. I say camo brute with mauler could take him.

GH Chieftain > SS Knight
FR Chieftain < IC Knight
Also, it should be noted the best difference between the two is numbers. You only see one chieftain at a time. But you can see many high ranking knights all over the place (especially on Midnight.)
I think an intestine scenario would be the number of chieftains present during the end of the package in reach vs the same number of knights and they would be 1 of each cheiftan and 1 of each knight 4 each.
