With balance in mind.
The BR should be able to be dual wielded with a DMR. As soon as you pick up your DMR the screen becomes split and somebody else at home can pick up another controler and control the DMR fire.
For balance : The DMR would float on top of the players head.
Obviously, the first player would still play with is BR normaly, but with some back up from another household for balance.
Yes I agree. When they drop the DMR, the other player will be booted.

Personally I think for balance you should have a Beam Rifle Delta on your crotch and 3 fully functioning miniature Nornfangs sticking out of your eyes eyes and mouth or maybe 5 miniature Nornfangs in minigun rotary barrel sort of thing

Instead of a DMR make it a floating SMG. Sort of a personal defense turret controlled by the 2nd player. Go ahead and make it work for vehicle turrets also.
