It was fine for H3 swat.
People have different preferences, I personally don’t mind facing a BR in swat when I use DMR.

BR has been in every iteration of SWAT (minus Reach, but the BR wasn’t in Reach) and it has never been a problem. In fact, I think they should take the DMR out of SWAT.
br was the weapon for swat in h2 and h3. i use the dmr primarily in swat anyway because its pinpoint accurate unlike the br burst.

The balancing is perfect!
Br= 7 bullets to the body to kill IE:3 shots
Dmr= 3 shots to the body to kill
Magnum= 3 shots to the body to kill
Br:Close/mid range
Dmr=Mid/long range
Magnum=close range
If your are good at swat, you shouldn’t let them get three body shots on you before you take them down =)

The point I’m trying to make is DMR takes more skill to use than the BR. DMR is headshot or you die BR is two body bursts or burst near their head and look slightly up so the last bullet can 1 shot you if you missed with the first 2.

The DMR has loads more aim assist than the BR.

I assure you, the difference in aim assist between the two is negligible at best.
Besides, while the BR’s burst gives it an advantage in SWAT with landing a headshot, the DMR is capable of firing the second shot before the BR can fire the second burst. Meaning if you miss with the DMR you have a quicker recovery.
Try using the BR on Complex or across the platforms on Solace against a DMR user and then tell me if you think it breaks SWAT. Which is a question you shouldn’t even have to answer considering the gametype was invented under the care of the BR.
Sounds like you guys are getting owned by one too many BR players.
BR shouldn’t be taken out of SWAT, but it shouldn’t be in the same match as the DMR. It should be BR against BR and DMR against DMR. Taking it out of SWAT will upset a lot of people, just like taking the DMR out would.

Another viable solution that can work

I personally think the reach swat was better.
It made it so a melee wasnt your death
you were forced to stay at range

wrong; it has been said before that the BR has the most aim assist of all the base precision weapons. do your research before posting.

it’s harder to get a headshot over long distances with the br.
