If theres gonna be a battle royale., which tbh im not a fan of, then if 343 isnt using the flood as the storm itself then Id say thats a totally missed opportunity

Bringing the Flood back would be cool, but if it is not in the game anymore they won’t use it. However it could be like Gears 4 and 5 where the Locust are dead but they used their skins in the multiplayer.
I would rather not see a battle royale. I liked that game mode in Halo 5 that was kind of like a battle royale…yes I see the irony of not remembering the name…I would like if they wanted a battle royale to see that game mode re-worked to be better, still only be 2 teams. Could separate spawns and colors. have each team seperated into 5 groups of 4. Give different objectives to teams kind of like a real war.
Just an idea I would rather see than the Apex style of battle royales.

That’s actually not a bad idea. And the shorter the ring gets the more bigger and lethal flood forms begin to surround the surviving players. The more numerous as well. Hell, let dead spartans, if killed, become infection forms that can kill surviving players but only if they are outside the safe zones. Sort of like an infection BR mode.
