This may be a stupid question but has anyone tried opening up bronze packs? I know its just a chance at a permanent unlock but they’re so cheap, basically one match of Warzone Assault gets you a bronze pack.
two, depending on what you sell.
and yes - its great for getting the common permanent unlocks out of the way, before springing for silver. the chance is pretty high, believe it or not.
also - its a quick way to get devent power weapons, like the promethean weapons and the chaingun turret! (chaingun turret, is only req level 2, and it doesn’t replace a weapon. comes with a full clip as well!)
I would defiantly recommend buying a dozen bronze packs before gold and silver, it’s a great way to get all the permanent common unlocks out of the way. You may also want to do this if you want to unlock less mongooses x)
I’ve heard they’re not worth it, but I’ve gotten at least 3 permanent cosmetic unlocks out of Bronze packs…literally the luck of the draw…
Its just the chance of ONE permanent unlock correct?

Yup
Not really. You get more “benefit” buying up. Once you have the unlocks, the silver pack makes the most sense.
Silver Packs are the way to go after about 4 hours of playing. Stick with Silvers until you unlock all of your possible permanent unlocks then switch to Gold.

This knowledge just blew my mind.
Thank you. Bronze packs here I come!
Gold packs all day
Yes they are, they can give common permanents that can prove useful. In addition if you have all the common things unlocked you can get only rare by process of elimination.
I spammed bronze just to get all the common permanents quickly, I could easily buy 1-2 packs after every game. Then there was less odds of getting -Yoink- items in the higher packs.
save up for the golds everytime, unless you play nothing but war zone
I’ve been doing bronze packs recently but it’s really boring. There is a ton of common stuff to unlock which is the plus but most of that stuff you don’t really need. You are just opening them to get it over with. I think I’m going to switch back to silver. Upgraded vehicles/weapons are so good.

Yeah that’s what i did, nothing more frustrating then spending a whole hour to get a Gold pack only to be rewarded with an Assault Rifle Variant and some crap armor.
I so far have never bought a bronze pack, I rarely get silver ones and save up for Gold ones all the time.
Buy bronze packs at first to get EVERY common/uncommon cheap, that way when you get silvers and golds you actually get good sh*t.
If youre a low level and havent unlcoked many certifications then definitely! But once you stop getting them and you just get 1 use things then no… then you would want to go to silver packs and then eventually gold packs, this means gold packs you have more of a chance getting legendary or mythics!
Up until yesterday I was hoarding my REQ points and only buying gold packs but, in just one day of buying bronze packs, I have unlocked more permanent items than I did in the first 12 days of playing. I also scored a sweet armour and helmet set with flames and skulls on it. I can get eight bronze packs for the 10,000 REQ point that it takes to get one gold pack, and when you factor in selling stuff that I don’t want back, that usually turns into around ten bronze packs for the cost of one gold pack.
So, my current strategy is to only buy bronze packs until it has no more permanent common items left to give me, and then move onto silver packs, and then gold.
