EDIT: This is possibly a NEW bug in the MoR update. Can anyone help confirm or refute it?
It seems that once you’re done with common unlocks, the unlock slot in a bronze pack doesn’t refund RP, like the 2 unlock slots do in silver and gold packs. It should! I know it’s only a “chance” at an unlock, but I just bought 15 bronze packs and got no RP refunds. I’m SR 143 and unlocked all my commons months ago.
There are useful items in Bronze packs (e.g. carbine, plasma pistol), which are really hard to get from silvers (which only give ~1 common card). But without bronze pack RP refunding, bronze packs are almost as expensive as refunded silvers! (1250 RP vs. 2000 RP)
Check all your unlocks to see if you have any common left. Then you will know if this is a glitch or not.

I’m Spartan Rank 143. I just finished ALL my unlocks - common through legengary. So yes, I’m definitely done with bronze pack unlocks. It seems like a glitch.

Do you still get the refund for silver packs? Maybe they turn off the refund when you unlock everything.
Friend thought he was done with Bronze, but no. He still needed 2 mongooses and a cert or two. took him 10 packs to get what he needed. this was last week, and was given the refund.
No, this may be a bug with Bronze packs since the MoR update this week. Trust me friend, I am done with unlocks. I’m Spartan Rank 143. I just opened 15 bronze packs in a row and got no RP refunding. This seems like a bug.
Can anyone else confirm that bronze packs ARE NOT (or are) refunding RP since the MoR update? someone who is done with their common unlocks, buy like 4-5 bronze packs and see if you get any RP refunds?
i didnt even know bronze would refund honestly, since there is only a chance at a permanent unlock, where as silver and gold are guaranteed two permanents if available
I have never bought a bronze pack, and don’t need a mongoose cert. I am complete on silver and gold. Silver and Gold are giving back rp, it makes sense that bronze doesn’t give back rp.
I’m not getting any REQ points either and before MOR I was.
Anyone have anymore information on this?!

I seriously doubt this was intentional. More likely it was an unintended side effect of their buffing the REQ pack contents. It would be great if 343 could confirm this bug has been logged.
On a related note, I’d love for them to give me an RP refund for the 10-15 bronze packs I bought this week, trying to check for them if this was a bug. 
But at the very least, I hope they fix the bug.

Yeah I opened tons of packs trying to farm for whatever I hadn’t unlocked before I got suspicious enough to check to see if someone else had the same issue lol. I’m sure I bought 10-15 after unlocking the MOR bronze content.

Bronze packs do not give back points anymore. Bronze packs are a waste of points. Go directly to silver.

It is logical due to them being so cheap compared to the silvers and gold getting a buff now it only makes sense. Plus if you keep opening bronze with no results hu keep doing it? Should have just gone to silvers after 2-5 packs.
Why are you opening bronzes to begin with?
Bronze packs actually remain important after you’ve finished the common permanent unlocks, because they contain some very useful low-level single-use reqs (carbine, speed boost, saw, storm rifle), all of which are very useful in warzone assault.
In fact, since bronze packs no longer refund RP, after you have finished common unlocks, those reqs become some of the HARDEST to find, rather than the easiest! (And since they’re “common” they should be easy/cheap to get)
bravo posted in a recent community update that they deliberately stopped refunding RP in bronze packs, but I think that was a bad decision. Ironically it’s now VERY difficult to get those single-use reqs that should be the most common, after you have finished all your common unlocks.
They may have gotten rid of refunding REQ points.
They’re refunding for me… Did you use silvers to get common, uncommon and rare certifications?
