useless you only get crap just buy gold packs
Why though? It is better to unlock all of your common and uncommon REQ’s before buying gold packs.
not even guaranteed to get a permanent unlock
You have to buy bronze packs to unlock all the common things. Then you have to switch to silver packs when you don’t get something new in bronze packs. You save a lot of REQ points when you go this way and don’t unlock this stuff common stuff in silver packs. Bronze packs were pretty nice

You’re gonna get those emblems anyway at 5000 RP a pop instead of 1250
I found that bronze are the cheapest way to unlock the common stuff. Why pay 5000 points for a silver pack to unlock common stuff? Or worse, buy a gold pack and get a common emblem lol. Just buy the bronze packs, unlock everything and sell everything you don’t want.

It’s up to you. Shotgun and Railgun are common but actually pretty powerful…
I came to the conclusion bronzes were pointless early on. I don’t care about 100% completion. I only care about the good stuff Rare, ultra rare and Legendary stuff. My pride and joy is my legendary DMR.
when i level up i use 2 or 1 bronze and i will get a certification.

no
If you want to waste your RP points (and take three times as long) then go ahead and only buy Gold or silver packs before knocking off commons. Just know that four bronze packs are equal to the price of one silver pack. And there are currently 132 common REQs, while not on the level of uncommons that’s still a lot of REQs you have to get out of the way before you hope to get something good from silver or gold packs unless you get lucky
And who cares if you don’t get something every time? It took me a week A WEEK to get rid of the common REQs. Silver packs I’m just nearing completion after three months of the game being out.

thats why they are called bronze packs.they are worthless. i just do the silver to gold way. once in awhile i get bronze
As others have stated, they are the smart buy to get your common reqs unlocked and out of the way for your silver, then your gold pack purchases. That way when you spend your 10k req points on your gold pack, you will be getting higher unlocks and certifications.
Now, if you just want higher level stuff to burn up during warzone, then yeah you’re going to want the higher level packs.
As for me I have a long road to go because I want that helljumper helmet.
Just spend my req points and bought 71 silver packs… aaand…pretty disappointed lol
But that’s simply not true.
I buy bronze in order to refill my common weapons. That’s it.
Req’s don’t even become interesting until you buy all the crap from the silver packs. Then every gold pack you get has a legendary
love it. Takes time, but worth it.
Don’t waste your money/reqs! Go silver for a while and once you have more unlocks, then go gold.
I’ve actually talked about this in another thread. It all depends on what kind of player you are. Are you a completionist, or just the average player? Using the bronze, to silver, to gold pack method is best for the completionist that wants to get 100% completion the fastest, at the expense of being limited to commons very early on. For the average player, going from silver to gold, or just buying gold most likely feels like a better idea because the items you get are better in the beginning, but at the expense of availability. The thing with going progressively from bronze to gold is that you’re eliminating lowest possible quality reqs from high quality packs. And if probability and statistics is your type of spiel, you should know that this means there is a higher chance to get highest quality reqs when there are no lowest quality reqs left to earn.
