Ever since the spawns in Warzone Assault have been changed, it seems like there is a huge mismatch in favour of the defenders on the map Array. Previously, games were always fairly even, with the attackers all spawning on the side of the spire furthest away from the armoury. This meant that they could rush the spire together and use the tall rock as an alternative route on to the spire or as a line of sight to lay down supporting fire. The new spawns have the defenders much more spread out, allowing them to get picked off individually before they even get close to the spire. I get that the defenders are supposed to have a slight advantage but I feel like the high ground and cover the get from being at the spire is enough and there is no need to handicap the attackers even further by effectively spawning them out in the open where there is little to no chance of winning a gun fight against a defender in such an advantageous position. To compound the attackers misery, this means that the defending team advance REQ levels faster and, once the whole defending team have BRs, there is no chance of a comeback using ARs and the magnum.
Because of these changes, (in my experience) the vast majority of games end at the six minute mark. I know that Warzone Assault isn’t intended to be super competitive, and I don’t view it as such, but surely if other people are having the same issues it needs to be addressed?
