Broken Servers or Internet?

I’ve been having a serious problem regarding halo 5 this past week. So far I have only had 2 main problems:

  • Instant Death
  • Disconnection of teammates/ and or me

Instant Death:
I have a full gameplay saved in theatre mode of when I wasn’t shot a few times and died immediately. I thought maybe it was a really well team shot, but when I reviewed the footage, No. It the one player every time who killed me in an instant. If you would like to see this gameplay I can provide if asked.

Disconnection:

Many people have addressed this problem but I do not think mine is the same. Players are being disconnected at random times of them match, with no prevention. Players are being disconnected during the loading screen before the match which makes he game a 3v4. I have been disconnected like these players. I have a about 20% of my competitive game loses for this reason, IT REALLY FUSTRATES ME. My ranks fall every game this happens of course and I have no way of preventing.

Ther here is also lag and other normal server problems during my gameplay but that’s less important at this time.

Zo, I would like to know what the problem is and understand what is happening to be fixed or changed. I really do not want to deal with the anymore and have lost a lot of my fun for playing Halo.

Now ow I would like to know what’s happening thanks.

For optimal game play, make sure you are wired, with an open nat.

I will consider that but any other ways for optimal gameplay as having a wired connection is a little inaccessible right now

Try these general troubleshooting steps to see if there is any improvement:

  • Cold reset both your Xbox and your router. To perform a cold reset of your Xbox hold down the power button for 10 seconds (this will delete the game cache). With the router, turn it off for 30 seconds and then back on (that should clear its networking cache). - Reset Alternate MAC Address in system network settings on your Xbox to improve the general responsiveness of your Xbox One.Don’t worry too much about not being wired, as if you have just started getting the network problems, then it is unlikely to be your network set-up. I play wireless on a 300 kilobyte per second connection, and I have very little problem (gaming uses a surprisingly small amount of internet compared to something like streaming a video).

Edit: That instant kill thing you mentioned. That might be a glitch that some people currently know about whereby a gun’s whole magazine can be released in one shot (I won’t detail this anymore for obvious reasons).

That glitch might be the problem but in the reviewer gameplay the person was using an AR from long range and also the carbine. My friend has Xbox DVR recorded proof
