I got 8 games on doubles where I went 6+ and my friend went constant negative except for the last 2 matches and we won the 8 where I did good and then I got put at gold 2 and he was put at gold 6, can I ask why this is? Doesn’t seem right 
The ranking is determined by how many matches you have won and not by personal performance.Also,your ranking in the previous season has influence on your curent ranking.

The whole ranking system is trash, don`t take it too seriously.
