In-game playlist lobby and Waypoint population counters are not functional. Please fix.
Unrelated shameless plug incoming… Please also make the DLC a mandatory update for all players while you fix the playlist counter.

I would not believe that none of the 343 employees have no time to fix it. i suppose that the counter is removed because of low population and 343 does not want to keep the H4 servers running. Maybe we are forced to buy Xbox One console and Halo MCC to play H4 online?

I play H4 backward compatible on X1 as do many others and the population has been static for a while now. I don’t believe it would take much to fix this issue but I also don’t want to pretend to know what it would take. The servers should run long beyond Reach and H3 as they are still running. Not too worried about them shutting down anytime soon. Alternatively this does seem like a deliberate move to weaken the population and steer players towards newer titles.
If the population counter isn’t available, it’s not because 343 have intentionally removed it. It will very likely just be server issues. Matchmaking servers for older games won’t be going down any time soon, especially seeing 360 games becoming backwards compatible just a few months ago. It might take a bit but things like this do get fixed.

Thanks for getting back to us, hopefully this gets fixed soon! Tons of people still love to play Halo 4

For me, all the counters say zero or a really low number but I can easily find a match for all playlists.
The population is very low, due to it being a sucky game.
