Seriously though 343 so many problems and so many requests. Please slow down on forcing your way into the MLG circuit “Money gets you views not respect” and focus on keeping so many peoples favorite game series alive…

I stomp a spartan with a mantis whilst he is in the shoulder charge animation which negates all damage and he hijacks me…

RIP Mantis. That looked frustrating. I think more than anything else, the kill time on a board needs a big adjustment. In six seconds flat, you board, plant a grenade, and run away with a REQ level 7 kill. Two things need to change:

*Two melees to expose the critical spot (one time thing)

*A reduction in the protection boarders have. It always seems like once you’re on, there’s nothing your support team can do. I’ve nailed a boarded Mantis in the back with a tank (red reticle too) and have it completely fail to kill the boarder. They’re just too protected while in the act of boarding.

To the OP: What’s even more frustrating is that there’s always some punk who responds to these threads with “get good” or “it’s fine the way it is because I did well with it once”. Boarding needs balancing against the mobility changes in H5. We even have an armor ability that lets you not show up on radar to an extent. Add in the fact that there’s now 12 players on a map AND dozens of places to hide, and it’s just too easy to get jumped randomly. No, one Spartan doesn’t need to be able to kill your vehicle on command. There’s anti-vehicle REQs for that. It’s too effortless.

I used a prophets bane against a tank boarder he didn’t even loose shields…

My favorite thing used to be shooting a wall in a scorpion just to kill your hijacker…

Wraiths can splatter Mantises. Enemies in Campaign will do it occasionally, and it works in Warzone if you get the chance to. But yeah, Mantises are crap.

The mantis is weak sauce in this game. -__-

The mantis stomp is like snap shooting with a sniper. One hit kill if you hit, mostly likely you will miss. I do agree the mantis is nerfed to high heaven compared the the halo 4 one which wasn’t that strong to begin with.

I have only used the mantis once, it was awesome. I agree that there are many weak points, and some of them need to be addressed.

yeah the mantis got shafted in halo 5. I hate the damn thing now.
