It’s awesome to pick between 20 odd different assassinations but 99% of the time I initiate one if the enemy is walking even slightly it stops and they turn around and retaliate.

It happens so frequently I don’t even record it anymore I will next time. I mean it feels like I’m playing the beta. Whoever made this game is incompetent.
Pretty simple I start the assassination it stops and the enemy not only doesn’t die or get hurt they turn around and fight back wasting all my time and effort.

Most probably you are lagging. Happens sometimes.

It has to be lag. The server is trying to maintain a balance among each player’s internet connection quality, which explains people “escaping” from your assassinations and killing you in the process.

Just to clarify, you are holding the button down for a sec to initiate assassination right? If not then that might be the problem. Or maybe just my controller layout requires a button hold. Who knows with these things?
That’s weird I never had this happen to me and I’ve had the game since launch .-.

It happens to me every once in awhile. It usually stops during the beginning of the animation like it never happened.

Looked at your clips. All 15 of them. This is the only video that you have ever recorded of an attemped assassination and you can clearly see that major lag was involved. Dont blame the developers because someone has a bad connection.

less than 300? haha
I’ve had that happen a couple of times , it usually stops the animation from happening and feels like your being pushed away strange but a rare occurrence

finishing the commendation is only 105, so i would say that’s plenty
Yeah this happens when theres a lot of lag i suggest checking your wifi and if thats not the issue then it is the other people. my suggestion is to go on custom games and go on one of the assassination game modes and try it out there to see if it works.

Other than lag the other reason this also happens is when a certain assassination is performed on a surface that does not meet the requirements to perform said assassination like an air assassination in front of a wall it won’t happen and the player might get thrown away or just get killed with a melee.
Trust me that happened to me once where I almost got assassinated and escaped it since it was on the rocky surface of the warzone map Skirmish on Darkstar and got to kill my would be assailant.

T’was what I thought too at first, but the player’s reaction seemed almost deliberate, like some assassination counterattack…
This happens to me like half the time I try to get one. You think yours is bad when they retaliate against you? I somehow go past them and then they assassinate me!
