“Feedback and other insights are certainly valuable, but first and foremost we are testing and stressing the technical side of Halo Infinite.” Stuff breaking is the entire point of this preview. You were asking when folks will be able to participate? You are literally participating right now. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go out and find a sacrificial offering to the Halo gods that will enable me to leave Pending-land.

I can almost tell you’ve never played any “betas” that have come out that aren’t 2 weeks to 1month before the game launch’s.
This is a technical test. Not a Beta. And it’s better that we mess up the servers and services now than when the final game comes out

Been in pending land 4 hours myself… about tongo to work. Hope i can atleadt download it when i get home

Well you can’t of participated in many beta’s which is a technical test, to not even be able to download the game is a complete fail, issues in game are expected, issues just downloading are unheard of in my 14 years of testing for Xbox.

It is exactly not those things - 343 have clearly stated that this is not a demo, alpha or beta release. Try again.
If you’ve been testing for 14 years, you should remember the Halo 3 beta that was available with Crackdown which was rather big mess around launching as well. Again, the point of this preview is to stress test Halo: Infinite and that includes all the stuff at the backend. Just try joining later, it’s not like the technical preview will end in a couple of hours.

What part of the website isn’t working for you?
100% that guy whos been testing for “14 years” got into halo around halo 5 with the way he’s acting.
Lots of people are having issues, including 343 trying to get things kicked off. As has been said though, this is all part of the flight. Things will break and the reasons for them breaking will be discovered and fixed so that we have a smoother flight launch in future. It’s frustrating for sure but it’s no failure. This is the kind of thing you need to get used to dealing with in pre-release software.
