I’ve powered through this game for months expecting it to improve. I can’t do it anymore. Im currently on a 2-3 week break (ive played under 10 games compared to probably 400 in previous 2-3 week periods) and I just cant find the motivation to pick up the controller and play at this point. I’d rather (and actually do) just stare at the home screen instead of actually playing when I try to get on. The ranked experience is BRUTAL if you dont have a 4 man team at my rank.
It mind boggles me you guys cant even make a statement on when or even if we can expect other ranked playlists.

It’s extremely frustrating but I think it’s safe to assume they won’t make any major changes or significant moves until season 2, which is promised to start May 3rd.

If they came out and said “we will be adding more ranked playlists in S2” that would be good enough for me. I think king of the hill is going to go a long way to add some variety in the current ranked playlist as well
At this stage I’m so anxious about season 2. If season 1 is this bad, why on Earth would season 2 be any better? I want to be so wrong here but I have zerop hope.

I’m afraid it is what it is.
In my opinion, they shortsightedly tossed an unfinished and incomplete game out the door to sell Xboxes and Game Pass subscriptions for Christmas with no regard to their customers or concern for the future.
As it stands, they appear to be in duck and cover mode hoping the new streaming TV series will provide enough distraction for them to release the next season, which may or may not satisfy. Funny thing is, the TV series has the potential to ‘reach’ and attract many curious new players, but will they hang around?
My guess is they’ll say very little until returning from an extended Easter break.
Time will tell.
Beats me I officially can’t watch the tv series until the summer!
