Bro fix the br u went over board with the nerfs

I mean on launch day there were pros breaking down and analyzing how the BR felt compared to pre-patch values and there was a consensus that BR vs BR fights were noticeably different.

Also:

~20% decrease

~8% decrease

10% decrease

~16% decrease.

What do you mean margin of error?

Let’s use some figures we’re all more familiar with…

Is it a big deal between 25 cents and 20 cents?

Is it a big deal that something cost $2.40 and now cost $2.20?

Is it a big deal if someone said they’re 20 mins away but shows up in 18 minutes?

No, it’s not. Hardly even noticeable.

Same. They announced the BR was getting nerfed with the winter update and it feels the same to me. Supposedly the Commando got a decent buff, but even that feels the same.

It’s most likely just a placebo effect. Someone misses their shot, they know there was a change, has to be it.

HAHAHAHA oh Christ this is genuinely hilarious. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more ludicrous comparison in my life.

Is it a big deal to investors that my company’s revenue went from 2.4 million last year to 2.2 million this year?
Is it a big deal that I took a process that’s run 60 times a day and reduced the time to completion from 20 minutes to 18 minutes, thereby recovering 2 hours of productivity each day?

There answer is “no freakin duh.”

Edit: I would love for you to apply this logic to an RPG. Imagine if a talent/ability got a 20% nerf to literally any of its attributes and then someone says “yeah this is barely noticeable”

I’m not, and I don’t owe you anything but I understand how percentages work and how they can be wrongful used and used to your advantage, professionally speaking.

Bottom line, in the real word there’s hardly a difference in those changes.

I gave you three real world examples in which those percentages are massively important.

I am! The new changes have been excellent so far. Maybe one day you’ll be able to enjoy it so that you stop wasting your time posting on a forum for a game that you think is an irredeemable dumpster fire :slight_smile:

I haven’t noticed anything either. BR works fine for me.

I’ve noticed the change mostly at range from someone shooting at me. It feels less like I’m getting lasered from across the map. While I’m still not for BR starts, I could tolerate it with this change.

Season 1 season 2 and seanson 2.5 lol all of them with a acuracy above 52% with the old and new br so the argument u lil kids trying to use oh it skill set oh u NoW hAvE tO HiT uR sHoTs bro i hit my shots lol it jus feel cheap and bad and then again halo 3 and reach was way harder than this game and felt great lol the br is broken they have to fix it lol

This was the point. The br was way too powerful. I’m very happy with this update to the br.

I agreed that is was op it could dominate in any range and that was absurd but they went over board with the nerfs … they have to fix it ur asking ur little fan base to relearn how to play ur game one year later and the funny part is that this game is dead lol like bruh yeah the nerf from long range was perfect but the other two where absurd … with the actual desing of the br and all the network problems this game has now it feels ultra inconsistent …

And for me is not a huge problem but it is not fair ! For the players that have being playing since season 1 to nerf the guns that hard … and buff the other 3 guns that needed skill to use …

Hope they fix hit and give back something of the two they took away … but keep the long range nerf that was needed now u have to learn how to actually zoom in on the gun fights

Also, you are wrong. They didn’t just nerf it at range. They made landing the final shot to the head more difficult, which has more impact at close range because you have to make much bigger adjustments.

The BR would work fine if they’d fix desync and 100+ ping server connections.

That would be a valid point, if they only had data from high ping games with desync. Turns out they could take all the games played that didn’t have those issues and use them to make a logical decision to fine tune the game.

You may not agree with it but it seems popular so far. If that’s going to be a deal breaker for you and your ability to enjoy this “broken game” then that is up to you.
