Super slayer has long been forgotten and often has less players than mlg…
There are currently 900 players in TS, and only 9 players in SS.
If you’d like to run TU 4v4s add me. For Classic, MLG, and TU customs.
Honestly 343 should title update every playlist and get rid of super slayer but we all know 343 doesn’t care about the reach community.

It’s not like they don’t care. They simply don’t support the game anymore. Yes, I’m aware of old games like Custom Edition still being supported. But 343 won’t keep supporting around 4, 5 or 6 old games (Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Reach, Halo 4, Halo CEA, Halo Wars)
Also how is 343 disregarding the Reach community if:
They added many things from Reach into Halo 5: Grenade Launcher, Noble team’s armor, emblems, Reach helmets, Etilka (Jorge’s Chaingun). That, from the start, is already alot.
Made a Lootcrate in reference to Reach.
If you’re not happy, then there’s nothing I, or anyone, can do.

First of all, this is a reach post. So halo 5 is irrelevant. For the OG halo players, after reach, halo doesn’t exist. 4 and 5 are not in any sense like traditional halo.
Reach only gets the exception due to settings tweaks.
The base platform is lacking. TU, and anniversary and mlg are all fun because I can be sure my gun shoots where it’s aimed. Bloom and spread are ideal, but not to the extent of it’s original settings I do not like it whatsoever and there are tons among the community who feel the same.
I also just got a notification about an August update for TU settings on the game. Maybe they do care about the reach community.
And by the way reach has such a consistent community that 343 would be oblivious to ignore any fan complaints.

I was just pointing out the stuff they add from Reach into 5, showing they do care for the community. Also, how can I identify if you’re a OG Halo Player or not? I am an OG Halo player (almost), but I like the some things 343 has to Halo 4, and so on. Also, I understand that statement that “After Reach, Halo doesn’t exist”, but are you aware that Halo 4 was pretty much “confirmed” it was happening by the Legendary ending of Halo 3? The least thing is consider Halo 5 non-cannon like I do.
Wait, an august update? When? Like, right now? If so, then I might be a bit wrong after all.
if people liked TU more than vanilla reach then team slayer would probably be underpopulated and supper slayer would be going strong, supper slayer was only popular for a couple of months after its release, team slayer has always been well populated, plus the people that like 343’s reach moved to newer games, but those who like the slower game play and big maps in reach stuck around, i think an all TU reach would kill the game.

That can come down to a lot of the fact that people don’t differentiate what game modes they play. Slayer (or FFA/TDM) is familiar and they know what they’re getting into, it is why it is almost always the most popular playlist in every shooter. Look at MW2, or look at a recent COD game, TDM will be the most populated. Obviously I don’t wanna bring up COD as an example on a Halo forum but it is an obvious example. Slayer will almost always have over 50% of the player base, and the other 50% will be spread over every other game mode.

To be honest adding Halo: Reach unlockables isn’t really supporting the Reach community, it is just playing with nostalgia to try get more people to come back, but it doesn’t support Reach it just tries to convince more people to come onto the new game, which quite a few Halo fans don’t want to do. Also are the Reach unlocks through REQ packs? As that really isn’t being kind to the Reach community, it’s like “oooh remember all this stuff you loved from an older (and IMO far better) game? Well if you wanna get them on you’ll have to spend extra money on it”. Like I don’t own an xbox one so I haven’t played Halo 5 in depth enough (only player it at a mate’s flats) to know if they are in REQ packs, but if they are then y’know, just sayin…

Good points, nevertheless TU had a lot of publicity in 2011, and tu play list had a lower player count with a few exceptions, like BTB which would probably have a good player bace ether way, i hate TU, but BTB and Multi team are pretty fun, i think the problem with Reach was Bungie didn’t support it (for reasons) and 343 didn’t know how, Reach was barely touched until TU, so people were expecting it to play the some way every time, then 343 added TU and Anniversary to it and walk away for halo 4, when Reach come out and no one know what to do with it, maybe if TU happened sooner it would have been fine, i didn’t play reach for years because of how cut up the play lists are, but now it’s normal for bad post launch support, Reach oddly enough looks good for her age.

Yeah Reach is 7 years old pretty much and it still plays great, and also I agree it looks really good still too! Maybe not as crisp as Halo 4 or 5 but to be honest, I prefer the look and amazingly somehow the graphics for Reach over, 4 and 5!

I didn’t said they’re supporting the Reach community, but showing they care about it. What does the unlockables have to do with this? I just said that they added stuff from Reach to show that they care. Neither I have an Xbox One, but I watched enough videos to know what is the REQ system (garbage)

Yeah fair enough actually, I took that outta context my bad! (:
And yeah just like make armour unlockables through achievements or challenges or something, not REQ system!
