Hey guys! I’m trying to convince the devs to bring back the legendary ODST armor for the role players and clan people from Reach and Halo 5. It would seem the community loves ODSTs more than Spartan IV’s and while I don’t think Gypsy Company Armor should be replaced, I think keeping ODST Armor in Halo would be awesome for die hard Halo Fans. If you agree, please comment if you agree and show the devs how much we love ODSTs.
some version of the odst armor has always made it in so I’m sure we’ll see it in infinite.
I’d be shocked if ODST isn’t in the game. It’s tied with Mark V, Mark VI, and Recon as the most recurring armor set in the game if you count ODST. And it has had so many variations, between ODST, Air Assault, Nightfall, and Helljumper.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEEAAASSEEEE bring back the Halo 3/ODST/Reach style ODST helmet. It was by far the best. Halo 4’s, and Halo 5’s Nightfall/Helljumper just don’t do it…too many funky variations on the shape/design that just seems redundant when the original one is so perfect and classic. Sometimes it seems like things are changed just for the sake of being changed…if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!!
I would be all for different variations like the Mark V, Mark V-B and Mark VI, but the people want the original ODST as an option as well!
And please also bring back the Mark V-B. That helmet was BEAUTIFUL. Almost looked like a combination of Mark V/VI and ODST. The default helmet you start with in Reach and also the one Thom wears in the remember reach marketing…as soon as you see that thing you know right away it is halo. Not some unicorn crap or C3PO looking helmets that are all over halo 5. And I know that halo 5 had the ‘decimator’ helmet that was meant to mimic the Mark V-B, but once again, was changed for the sake of being changed? The decimator is so ugly compared to the Mark V-B and is almost unrecognizable…

ODST Armor is my favorite armor in the Halo series, I would love for it to be added in some way, whether it’s hard or easy to get.
I’m pretty sure it will be there at launch, all the reach armor will most likely be returning which would include the ODST helmet, shoulders and chest piece addition.
This being said, I’m also certain that we will get at some point in time a full ODST armor core that would replace the default look of our spartans, this armor core would probably feature more tactical add ons such as the classic ODST Backpacks, munition holders and obv more militaristic ODST armor varients ( think of H:3 ODST)
The future for customization in Halo infinite is very bright!
Odst has been in all the games basically. It’s a given. Never really liked the derpy helmet tbh
I hope ODSTs return in general. Their presence has been absent for far too long.
The helmet is for sure already in the game and Id bet the other armor pieces are too based on their focus on cosmetics this time around.
