Bring Nameplates Back

343 needs to add this back to Reach. It wasn’t an exclusive thing like the Eternal Flames, this was for everybody. And it was not cool that 343 just turned the ability to change Templates off after gaining rights to the Halo games. Just because Reach doesn’t have a huge fan base, doesn’t mean that people still don’t play it. I mean, it can’t be that hard to implement that back in.

But it was exclusive…to Bungie. 343 didn’t turn off that ability to change the name plates, it was a feature only available on bungie.net (which 343 had absolutely nothing to do with). Both 343 and Bungie said before the franchise was handed over that the name plates, among other things such as the blue flames, would not be continued on Halo Waypoint.

Phil Mitchell’s pretty much on the dot.

Unfortunately stuff like that isn’t supported anymore OP, so even if 343 did want to bring them back it would probably take a while before anything happened. I’d personally like them to put that time into Halo 5: Guardians and the Master Chief Collection.
