just say the shotgun, its a great counter to the sword and i would love it back, not just for that reason alone.

If you think you need to trick people into reading your post then it’s probably a pretty weak argument being put up.
But in answer to your question. Yes. Would love to see older guns back for Forge and customs.
But the Bulldog is a great weapon. And I think it works well in the sandbox. It’s a beast in it’s own right.
And I don’t subscribe to any of this sword countering nonsense.

Never thought I would hear anyone say they like the dollar store version of the shotgun let me explain to you what a shotgun is supposed to do it is supposed to take down your enemies quickly at close range and keep them down it should not take four shots to kill your enemy especially at close range I just played a match it took four shots to take down my enemy at close range and all four shots hit dead center the bulldog sucks period Halo CE shotgun needs to return with its damage stats and ammo stats intact in fact all of the weapons that were in Halo CE that are also in Halo Infinite need to return with their damage and ammo stats intact

It does.
2SK at close range. Or 1S + melee.
Plus it’s auto. And doesn’t seem to have anywhere as much spread.

Either your aim is not as good as you think or you were the victim of desync.

Just not to replace the Bully. And definitely not as a “counter” to the sword.
If it takes you 4 shots to kill someone, then that’s on you at that point and the OG shotgun won’t fix that.
Yes it will because the original could one shot an enemy at Point Blank Range or have you not played the other Halo games

Bulldog is good. CE shotgun is a power weapon. I’ll take both, please.

Far from it.
Certainly a different weapon to the OG.
Probably even to the point that we shouldn’t even be comparing them.
Would love to see a custom game where one side has Bullies and the other goes old school.
But from a sandbox point of view you don’t need a sword and a shotgun on the same map… so it made sense to give one of them a different role.
Bring back the real human Energy Sword:
The Halo Reach melee counter
While you’re at it, bring back the Halo Reach/3 Sword and Hammer too, with their physics, clashes, and melee attacks, then get rid of these bootleg knockoff sorry excuses for weapons in Infinite

Well if the Bulldog is all we’re going to be stuck with then I hope the flood never return because they’ll shake off a shot or three from the Bulldog like it’s nothing
Flood are a different scenario. Similar to Infection.
They could bring the OG back for that scenario.
Or they could adjust the health and or speed of the flood to balance out the experience vs the Bulldog.
