Upon playing Halo 4 i was very pleased to see a return of an Infection Gametype. When i saw that the infected now had their own new look, i was thrilled. But as i started to play the game, i saw Flood was no where near the game that Infection was. Flood in this game is extremely unbalanced in respect to Infection. The humans have a MUCH harder time surviving together, or by themselves. The use of thruster packs makes locking down a room in the map pointless. So i ask you, 343,
PLEASE BRING BACK INFECTION. The long hours of zombie killing was great in Halo Reach. Where the humans got most of the kills, and the zombies had to work harder but eventually won. Bring back a gametype where the Humans have sprint, and the zombies have sprint. And give the magnums a use again, bring back the one shot headshot with the Magnum. There is really no pint to even use it in Flood, it takes 4 headshots to kill and then you get swarmed without having your shotgun ready. Please. Bring back the Gametype I and so many others love. You have done a great job so far with weekly updates. Continue your good work.
I disagree, I really like the flood in halo 4. I couldn’t stand infection on Reach because I felt that it was so unbalanced. It wasn’t any fun to get spawned as a zombie at the beginning of a round in Reach because you’d get some guy camped out somewhere where he could take pop shots all over the map and never get touched. In halo 4 I feel that both sides have a more equal chance of landing a kill. Not to say that something couldn’t be tweaked here and there, but i really like how this gametype worked out.
I think there should be two different game-types to choose from in the playlist. The Halo 4 Flood and a Classic Infection. I’d say just play customs with friends but upon checking I wasn’t able to find a way to turn off AA’s for the Flood…
