It literally makes Halo’s vehicle combat look like child’s play. The skill gap required to be a good piolt in the SU-35B Flanker- E and the F/A 18 Super Hornet makes banshee piloting look like something a 5 year old can do. Wait… it is something a five year old can do hah.

first, some vehicles DO take a little skill to use right, for example, being a good driver in a warthog
if you aren’t that good, you’ll get you and your gunner killed
but i do get your point, (i’m an okay jet pilot in BF, just for the record)
i’m thinking that the main reason that they don’t make vehicles HARDER to use is that too many of the 5-year-olds with complain that vehicles are too Hard to use, and because as it seems that +/-40% of the population in Halo consists of little kids, saying ‘no’ to change them back to easy toys will hurt too much of the population
also, have you SEEN some of these vehicle drivers,
i’m not just talking about Banshee noobs, fliping and bombing,
i’m talking about other vehicles, warthogs, tanks, etc.
for example, a good warthog driver on a map like Hemorrhage will try to avoid the Tank at all costs unless they are flanking it, but the “other” drivers choose to make a beeline towards the thing, get themselves blown up, and wonder “how did that happen, that Tank driver is hacking!”
changing the vehicles controls would just mean a lot of blown up vehicles,
people will suck at them even more if they are changed
