BRING BACK weekly favorites.

Remember back in the day in Halo 3 when Screenshots were a big deal? People would get known in the community just for their fileshare being filled with awesome screenshots. People got RECON for making screenshots. They didn’t need to “submit” them online, they just got recognized because FILE SHARES were actually a used feature unlike in Reach, and everyone tried to get their screenshots to the weekly favorites (or Bng favorites, whatev).

Screenshots may be recognized online, and on waypoint on xbox, but who goes there? It was much easier and glorified when they were posted in-game by bungie for everyone to see. Community files need to have an in-game feature again. I loved checking for screenshots in-game in H3, i loved taking screenshots, but i don’t go on Halowaypoint on the regular to check for that stuff, c’mon.

it was a quick way to try-out and look at the creative bests of the halo community.

The infection gametypes kept people playing infection in customs.

Even though i dont like infection, the halo 3 infection was still a load of fun

I’m with you there. The file sharing system was a bit disappointing. You can’t look at people’s file-shares pre-game which would be the only time I would ever check them. In Halo 3 I would just scan through everyone’s pictures while waiting for the game to start.

We did get a ton of options with the ‘Recently Downloaded,’ but it’s often full of garbage.

Nobody else agrees? I know people would like this feature to return

I did this also. Later I would find out that my absent veto could have saved us from doing snowbound! lol

But this system really needs to be put in mind. I couldn’t stand not being able to look through peoples fileshare in the pregame lobby. It really gets in my skin. They need to mix Reach’s and Halo 3’s systems. That would be great.

I would likely agree with this post, but i lost all credibility to you and anything you post after your horrible comments on the elite community…

So i disagree with everything above (Dont get me wrong, there may be a good idea up there but i dont care, as it was posted by someone who has yet to prove to me they desrve any respect.)

Agreed.

Seeing as some times there are screen shots and special photos from reach every week some time twice a week, there is no need and instead of just one there several photos

It would be good if they did more than just screenshots, but maps and gametypes too.

I have a screenshot that has been downloaded as of right now,13,397 times in Reach! I actually find Reach’s to be a little more effective because of the fact that the “reccomend” and “download” features are so available and not so unknown.

In Halo 3, nothing of mine made it as popular.

Here’s the photo I took, I like it a lot.

Thank me if you like it!
