I’m sure I’m not the only person playing who is irritated with the poor state of vehicles in Halo with small arms consistently destroying and damaging them.
When the average player sees a Tank, they don’t think “Oh s***! I should duck behind cover!” No, their first instinct, without fail, is to open fire on the tank or aircraft with their dinky little BR’s and Magnums.
The fact that any weapon damages and destroys vehicles not only takes away from the potency and and significance of heavier vehicles and aircraft, but it also takes away from weapons specifically designed to defeat vehicles.
We need a return to classic vehicle invulnerability to small arms. Only heavy weapons, vehicles, and weapons with the AV attachment should qualify as damaging to the vehicles.
That would be too much - invulnerable to small arms fire? The vehicles would be way overbalanced. Maybe raise the resistance a little so a BR doesn’t shred a Wraith/Scorpion - I get that. But I have gone on some seriously long killing sprees before in a basic scorpion alone, and it would of been rediculous if people with normal weapons couldn’t of done any damage to me.

Railguns, Anti-Vehicle (Hardlight) attachment for all Human weapons, Rocket launchers, Plasma Pistols, Boarding, Fuel Rod Cannons, all these things are a dime a dozen.
That would really unbalance the game, and considering the nature of the Warzone game mode it would be very chaotic and it would make a hell of a lot of people angry

Except it wouldn’t… Because vehicles can be boarded and dealt with without ever using a rifle.
The only thing it might accomplish is more than a few vehicles on the field, and a greater usage of Anti Vehicle features in their intended role.
