One of the coolest parts of Halo 4’s marketing was the fact that all the promotional material was using remixes from extremely popular artists as the music. It gave Halo 4 a unique identity by taking the already astoundingly creative soundtrack of Halo 4 and twisting it to extend even further to musical audiences who may have stumbled upon Halo 4 by hearing the remix soundtrack.
I still find myself driving home late at night to Green and Blue KOAN Sound Remix and reminiscing on the past. Most recently, I heard the Halo theme remix from Nolan van Lith and it immediately reminded me of the vibes that the Halo 4 remix soundtrack gave.
It could just be a me thing, but I highly doubt it.
