Ever since Halo: Reach the Halo font has changed to a “sleeker” new one, but why? Was the original font not casual enough to attract mainstream players? It may seem like a minor issue but Halo’s unique font was as much a part of its identity as Master Chief was. Imagine if Disney changed the Star Wars font for no reason. Fans would be outraged.
A return of the classic Halo font could also help 343 if they’re planning on bringing the franchise back to its roots. Just seeing those ancient sci-fi letters on a E3 trailer would be more than a welcome surprise.
