Everything in Halo Infinite is so limited, for example;

Progression is slow and limited to challenges (I’m not even gonna count the 50xp per match given, because that is just rediculous and near useless)

Because there are no slayer only modes everyone is being forced to play objective modes while an entire team runs around doing challenges.

No region filters

No toggle for crossplay and/or input based matchmaking, except the one option for solo/duo in ranked arena (very odd choice).
Never change a winning team…
After years of updating, MCC’s options and progression was fine, but they decided to overhaul the entire system for whatever reason.
Taking the player choice out of almost everything ruins alot of the game, at least that’s how it feels like to me. I honestly hope that we can get these options back and also be rewarded for performance and medals.
