Agreed.
I think its funny seeing claims that 343 is going to add these types of lobbies to Infinite when they went out of their way to remove it from the titles added to MCC.

I really enjoyed viewing the “drip pre-carnage” because it was wonderful to have people see me! I love this idea and would very much support it coming into the game.

The problem is that its kinda already a thing, in h3 hover over a name, select it then bring up service record, it works similar in MCC.
The issue is the avatars (preset images) take the place of actual customized spartans (and ODSTs) because theres 6 halo games and they didnt want to mess with making it dynamic or set according to the one you want to show off.
So yes i want it to be your customized characters again, no its not gonna happen, because then Avatars become obsolete.

Whatever “armor” your opponents happened to be using is meaningless. Any of that “armor” was available to any player even if they had a 0.25 k/d or worse.
I think it’s interesting seeing different players’ sense of style. I would argue there is some meaning to expression, even within a game’s superficial cosmetics.

They already considered Avatars obsolete and stopped releasing them.

Which is a shame because I’m sure Noble Team avatars would have been a huge hit.
