Bring back the old style of player lobby matchmaking

What I mean by ‘old style’ matchmaking, is players would still be in the same lobby when loading up another map rather than everyone being sent back to the matchmaking menu after a game is over. Basically how old Halo matchmaking worked.
With this old style of matchmaking I have made a bunch of friends on Xbox Live in the past and would stay in lobby’s longer because of the people I would be able to meet and talk to. Some of my favorite gaming memories are dumb conversations over voice chat that lasted for hours with complete strangers. I know I could invite these people to a party, or send them a friend invite but I don’t think that’s possible with only a chance to talk to these people for one game.
I know it’s asking for a lot but I truly think it would help this game feel much more community driven and could easily lead to more people playing it longer than they usually do.

I mean I wish they would but with this trash slip space engine I don’t think it’s going to happen. I mean they even considered using the unreal engine and I could not imagine how great this game would have been and how fast the content would have been pumped out if they would have gone that route

You want the H3 lobby and it shows. You want the H3 style where Recent Players update when the people in lobby get cue’d. You want the H3 lobby where you can see who is in your lobby, and then who’s teamed up with each other. You want the H3 lobby where when the game is over everyone has a countdown of 10 seconds till re-search starts.

You want the H3 lobby because it was superior.
