When I heard that Halo 4 was going to have Hazop armor, I was overjoyed. However, I was very angry when I saw that they had changed the design that was in Halo Reach. This new design isn’t bad, as it could still be in the game under a different name, but I’m hoping that 343i will bring back the old Hazop in Halo 5.

I’ll admit, the Halo 4 design was a bit odd. I got the camo version for a pre-order and it just grew on me. So please 343 Industries and Microsoft Studios; Bring back the HAZOP armor sets.
I haven’t seen it, but if it’s the H4 design, it looks -Yoinking!- stupid, like someone went crazy with the MELT tool in the graphics program.

Halo 4’s design was meh, but reaches felt like a Mark VI knockoff to me. Mix betweeen mark V B and mark VI. Just my opinion.
No way fellas, I desperately hope the Halo 4 variant will be in halo 5. I think both wouldn’t be a bad idea but I would be crushed if the Halo 4 HAZOP isn’t in halo 5. I love the three pointed visor, it looks great! You’re all correct about the halo reach armour system though, that should have been the standard customisation system. Halo 4’s seemed like a very slight downgrade, but still good. H5’s system looks pretty howyagoin (Not great in australian).
Considering they have something like WetWork in halo 5, i’m almost sure they’ll have HAZOP too, but i’d love to know. But seriously guys, the FRST HAZOP looked sick with the Arctic BR if you had white and steel armour colours. Take mine for example!
P.S does anyone actually know if HAZOP will be in halo 5? I’m just speculating.
The complete Halo 4 Hazop Frst armor set is my top favorite armor, so I also really hope that 343i will bring it into Halo 5. I love the working aesthetic functionality of the helmet, since it looks very much like a paintballer’s mask and that it also looks somewhat similar to the Carmine helmet from Gears of War. I also think it’s the beefiest armor set from Halo 4, especially the bulky chest piece. I always rock the Hazop helmet with the Locking forearms and the Counter leg armor piece, and for me, that combination makes my spartan look even bigger and more muscular than others.
However I’m somewhat disappointed with how limited Spartan Customization has become in Halo 5. Yes, I know you can unlock different variations of each armor permutation type via Req Cards, but I miss how in Reach you were given the most individual customization options. What if I want non-matching shoulder plates? What if I don’t like the leg piece or forearms of an armor set? It also would have been innovative if 343i implemented and expanded all the features Reach offered like accessories, independently selectable shoulder plates, and wrist pieces.
Really hope they bring back the Halo 4 Hazop Frst armor!

No, halo 4 hazop is better. I had the camo hazop with arctic battle rifle from gamestop and they were beast, one of my favorite armors in halo 4.

I agree, I love the new look of the GEN2 armour, and I’m in love with the new look of Hazop! They can bring back both to make the community ‘tingle’ from nostalgia!
